Jessica BAnVetBioSci, VTS (Nutrition), PgCertHlthProfEd, RVN, AVN

Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences from La Trobe University and subsequently achieved her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. In 2019, she distinguished herself as one of the inaugural Registered Veterinary Nurses in Australia and secured Accreditation through the Australian Veterinary Association. With over a decade of experience in the veterinary field, she has excelled in various capacities.

In 2020, she launched her blog, NutritionRVN.com and social media, aimed at empowering pet owners and professionals to make informed dietary choices and navigate the complexities of pet food especially in the ever evolving, and polarising online arena.

In 2023, Jessica attained the prestigious status of Veterinary Technician Specialist in Nutrition, becoming the 28th veterinary nurse globally and the 4th in Australia to achieve this esteemed title via Board Certification with the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians (recognised by NAVTA as an approved Specialty).

Jessica continues to educate her peers to provide evidence-based advice on veterinary nutrition through lecturing at major veterinary conferences, developing continuing education content both on-demand and in-person, and collaborates with pet food companies to share their knowledge and expertise with pet owners.
